Trying to juggle a data science job search with a full-time job can be daunting. You want to put your best foot forward in your job search, but you also don’t want to let your other responsibilities fall behind in the process. Here are some tips on how you can make time to find a new job in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics or artificial intelligence without sacrificing your current lifestyle.

Get Organized

The first step is to get organized. This means making a list of the companies you want to apply to, the types of jobs you’re interested in, and the deadlines for each application. Set alarms to remind yourself of those deadlines and make sure to have all your materials prepared beforehand. Once you have a plan, it will be easier to find time in your schedule to work on your applications and prepare for interviews.

Set aside time each day

Set aside at least 30 minutes each day to work on your job search. Have a clear plan for this time so that you do not spend it scrolling job openings mindlessly. Check your reminders for your current applications and then use the rest of the time to find new openings. Remember no matter…
