Data Science Portfolio Inspiration

As a teacher of statistics, data management, and data science I am constantly looking for quick access to data that will work for educational demonstrations. To avoid bogging the learning process in “loading data” it is important that each example would load a meaningful data set as quickly and simply as possible.

To help myself out I started a list of data sets that can load in a single line of code. Eventually that list got quite long. Eventually it became clear that the list would help others. I began sharing my list. Over time, I’ve found that this format “data sets that load in a single line of code” works well as an entry in any data science or data professional’s professional portfolio.
